Fourth of July, Part Dos

After the parade, we took our hot, sweaty selves back to the house and began Jason's tradition of making something to share with everyone else later in the day when we regrouped. Last year it was homemade fudgesicles (way to go Jason!),and this year he and the boys made salsa...LOTS of salsa! It turned out so well and everyone loved it. We made a couple of salsa deliveries - friends we were quarantined from still need salsa to enjoy while they swam-then we headed for Gorman where we relaxed with our family and grilled up so much delicious food we didn't know what to do with ourselves. We topped off the night with a little fireworks display courtesy of Jason and the boys, partially because they were so excited and partially because, once we were all nice and stuffed nobody had any motivation to hop in the car and drive to a fireworks display elsewhere. It was the most precious thing you've ever seen, watching those two boys exclaim over their not-so-big fireworks. When we finally rolled back into Stephenville, it was almost July the 5th, but it was a wonderful, wonderful day!

The boys in salsa city (sorry for the poor picture quality, but they all look like this for some reason)
I'm sure it was not the user:)
