The Fourth of July is one of those holidays that I totally love. It was a little odd this year because our kiddos all had some symptoms of Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Overall, they felt fine, but it is so contagious that we were sort of quarantined from all of our friends. They all sat on down the street at the parade and we sat in our own little section. The parade is so funny to me because anyone, and I do mean anyone, who wants to can be in it. From the boy walking with his dog to the fancy lowrider cars to the floats that no one could really understand, it is kind of a free-for-all but we love it! Jacob and Luke had spent the previous night with my Mom and Dad and she brought them back over so they could enjoy the parade. They gathered lots of candy and toys and Jason even snagged an ice cold Dublin Dr. Pepper! What a great way to start the day!
